Beef & Red Wine Stew with Potato Gratin
Comfort food at it's best. Tender beef stew simmered for hours with homemade beef stock, a little red wine, onion garlic and fresh herbs. Sent with yummy potato gratin on the side. I like to heat the gratin in the oven uncovered really hot so it crisps up a bit on the edges... soft and fluffy inside. The perfect compliment to this stew.
Ingredients
Stew:
Chuck roast, beef broth, red wine, onion, garlic, tomato paste, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, flour, parsley, salt & pepper
Potato:
Russett potatoes, heavy cream, butter, rosemary, thyme, salt & pepper
